Initiated by the Advisory Board of the Sándor Csoóri Fund, Sereglés 2025 took place on 20 September 2025 as a major celebration of Hungarian folk art communities across the Carpathian Basin. Bringing together approximately 400 communities in nearly 300 towns and villages, the event highlighted the living traditions of folk music, folk dance and traditional crafts, as well as the importance of passing cultural knowledge from master artisans and performers to younger generations.

The central event was held at Szentháromság Square in Buda Castle, Budapest. Other major locations in Hungary included Békéscsaba, Debrecen, Kecskemét, Salgótarján, Sárospatak, Sárvár, Szekszárd, Székesfehérvár and Zalaegerszeg. Events were also held in Gombaszög and Dernő in southern Slovakia; Méra, Szamosújvár and Székelyudvarhely in Transylvania; Nagyvárad and Szatmárnémeti in Partium; and Palics in Vojvodina, Serbia.

The documentary film Sereglés 2025 captures memorable moments from the events and celebrates the solidarity and shared cultural heritage of Hungarian folk art communities throughout the Carpathian Basin.
