About the Performance
Dialogue in Dark is a concert theatre production inspired by the poetic and intellectual world of Sándor Csoóri. Miklós H. Vecsei and his fellow artists bring Csoóri’s poetry to life through music, theatre and contemporary visual language, creating a new meeting point between poetry and music.
Rather than a traditional poetry recital, the performance transforms Csoóri’s lines into songs, musical motifs and theatrical images. His reflections on freedom, love, community, solitude and the place of the individual in the world are given voice through the artistic language of a new generation.
The production premiered at the Városmajor Open-Air Stage in 2021. Since then, it has been performed at numerous venues across Hungary and Transylvania, becoming one of Nomád Nemzedék’s most frequently performed productions.
